Uniforms

Scouts are expected to wear an official scout uniform. This uniform is worn with pride to all Scouting events. The uniform is an outward sign that a Scout believes in and stands for the values expressed in the Scout Oath and Scout Law. It demonstrates that he takes pride in the way he looks. Displaying the badges and awards he has earned testify to his advancement. The uniform provides the Scout with a feeling of belonging, not only to his patrol and troop, but to the worldwide brotherhood of Scouting. The uniform presents a wholesome image to the community, and reminds the Scout that people will expect him to act accordingly at all times. The display of the Scout uniform is the best way to show Scout Spirit.
