Depending on the activity, you may need to submit Part A, B, and C of the form. Part B requires the signature of a Dr. Parts A and C of this form are to be completed annually by all BSA members.
Part B is required with parts A and C for any event that exceeds 72 consecutive hours, or when the
nature of the activity is strenuous and demanding, such as a high-adventure trek. Service projects or
work weekends may also fit this description. It is to be completed and signed by a certified and licensed health-care provider.

Camping Gear
This is just a start and by no means is a complete list for camp gear. Click for the "What to Bring to Summer Camp" info sheet.
We always travel in our Class “A” tan uniform shirt.
Put your name on everything you take to camp, especially stuff you want to come home.
It is amazing how stuff gets lost at camp.
Medication:
Before departing for camp, give the scoutmaster all medicine to be taken at camp. Scouts are NEVER allowed to have meds in their own possession, not even Tylenol.
Medicine needs to be labeled and put a zip lock baggie for each Scout. The baggie should have the Scouts name, and troop 177 on it. Inside the baggie put administration instructions. It would be most helpful if you send the Scout with just enough prescription medication for the week of camp in the original medicine bottle. Send over the counter meds in the original bottle as well. Basic gear includes sleeping bag or sheets, rain poncho, hiking boots, gym shoes, and swim flip flops for use in the shower house. Scouts should pack sunscreen, a hat, bug repellent (non-aerosol), water bottle, personal First Aid kit, flashlight and extra batteries, swim trunks, small backpack and a pair of socks for each day.
A SCOUT IS CLEAN! Scouts, please pack soap, towel, deodorant and toothbrush & toothpaste, and plan to use them. Camp Friedlander has very adequate shower facilities.
It is OK to bring an alarm clock, wrist watch, a deck of cards or folding pocket knife.
DO NOT send any of the following to camp: Toys, electronics, game boys, radios, ipods, cell phones, fireworks, and No aerosol deodorants or bug sprays –(they do harmful things to tents) send solid, lotion, or pump form only.
Camp Store: Please be aware that there is a camp store that sells souvenirs and snacks. Scouts may want to bring some extra spending cash. The adults in our campsite will be happy to hold your money to help you manage it through the week. Please put the money in an envelope with the Scout's name and amount listed. It will be kept in a locked box @ the campsite.
